Chevron/Cleated Conveyor Belts

CCPL offers a wide range of profiled Chevron cleated belts which makes increased angles of 30 &deg to 40 ° inclination possible. The advantage of high angle inclination is that less space is needed to reach desired conveying height.

CCPL's variety of Chevron Belt pattern types to suit most applications and have the advantage of being integrally moulded as part of the Top surface and are suitable for jointing by vulcanizing or by mechanical fasteners.

Our range of Chevron Conveyor Belts are primarily used in cases when the angle of incline is too steep for a smooth conventional conveyor belt. These belts are fitted with integrally molded cleats that prevents the material from sliding backwards. Designed for excellent and smooth return side support, these belts generally find application for carrying heavy material from bulk solids to unit loads.

Designed to handle the toughest conveying applications, CCPL’s Conveyor Belt Series fulfils the highest national and international standards for tensile strength and wear resistance.

Slittable cleated belts have integrally molded cleats. Patterns are designed to aggressively transfer free-flowing material. Pattern choice depends on the material being carried and the design of the conveyor. Belt is available in 2 or 3 ply, MOR (Moderately Oil Resistant) compound.
Chevron Y Cleat Belts are used primarily when the angle of incline becomes too steep for a smooth conventional conveyor belt. The belt is fitted with integrally moulded cleats which prevent the material from sliding backwards as would be the case with a smooth surface belt. Different cleat designs allow the carrying of many types of material, from bulk solids to unit loads.

Oft times, it is necessary to convey at angles of incline that are steeper than the material normally wants to move. Continentals conveyor belting in many varied configurations that will competently accommodate that need. At angles of incline in the 15 to 25 degree range, the "chevron" or "straight cleated" belts illustrated here offer increased carrying capability at a very reasonable cost.
Y Cleat Belts are produced with integrally moulded profiles fitted into the belt's top cover during manufacture. The shape of the chevron profiles has been carefully designed to assure excellent smooth return side support on full width return idlers and good self cleaning properties. Incline angles achievable depend upon the material's characteristics and the type of belt selected.
